About the Doctor

Dr. Alexandra Zingiridou is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with a private practice in Korydallos, Athens. She graduated from the School of Medicine of the University of Ioannina and completed her specialist training in Ophthalmology at the 251 Hellenic Air Force General Hospital and Hippokrateio General Hospital of Athens, gaining extensive clinical and surgical experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad spectrum of eye diseases.

She further enhanced her academic training by completing the postgraduate programme “Contemporary Approaches in Retinal Diseases and Surgery” at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Committed to lifelong learning, she regularly participates in scientific meetings, educational courses, and international ophthalmology conferences.

As part of her professional development, she completed a Visiting Doctor fellowship at Augenklinik München in Germany, broadening her international clinical experience and strengthening her expertise in modern ophthalmology.

Dr. Zingiridou is also a Clinical Associate at Athenian Mediclinic, where she performs ophthalmic surgical procedures.
